Dancers and athletes, taking care of dancers and athletes.
Every plan of care at E-Motion is built by people who've lived the demands they treat: on stage, on the mat and in competition (plus one very good dog).
Eight people, one standard of care.

She is passionate about creating a safe space where clients can improve mobility, recover effectively, and maintain long-term physical health.
Dr. Lauren Coar, PT, DPT
Licensed in New Jersey, New York, and Florida, Dr. Lauren Coar specializes in dance medicine and performance rehabilitation. A lifelong dancer and two-time national champion with the University of Delaware Dance Team, she understands the physical demands of performing at a high level. Lauren has worked backstage on Broadway and at UDA Nationals, blending her clinical expertise with movement-based care. Trained in Reformer Pilates, Dance Medicine, and dry needling, she integrates manual therapy and functional movement techniques to promote recovery, prevent injury, and enhance performance.
Dr. Alexis Aguila, PT, DPT
Dr. Alexis Aguila has been a physical therapist for 7+ years in orthopedics and started dancing in high school. Her love for dance continued while working toward her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Northeastern University. Over the past few years, she has made it a mission to serve dancers and athletes, an often underserved community when it comes to healthcare, by providing one-on-one sessions and consultations for dancers in the NJ/NY area. She has found so much fulfillment in the work she's done thus far, and is excited to continue supporting the dance community as part of E-Motion Physical Therapy.
Ankita Khanna
Ankita is a certified Vinyasa and Yin Yoga instructor and a classically trained dancer with over 20 years of experience. Holding a degree in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai and certification from the American College of Sports Medicine, she integrates mindful alignment, breathwork, and strength training into her classes. Her teaching focuses on making yoga accessible and therapeutic, helping individuals enhance mobility, relieve stress, and cultivate holistic well-being.
Marion Venadas, LMT
With over five years of clinical experience, Marion Venadas integrates evidence-based massage techniques, including Swedish, sports, trigger point, hot stone, and deep tissue therapy, to address pain, tension, and mobility limitations. His background in dance provides a strong understanding of biomechanics and movement, allowing him to deliver precise, effective, and individualized care that supports overall physical recovery and wellbeing.
Sarah Kramer
Sarah is a dancer, teacher, and florist based in New Jersey. In 2021, she graduated from Montclair State University with a BFA in Dance, and in 2023 earned an Advanced Studies Certificate in Composition from the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance. Tia Walker
Tia is focused on growing and becoming better than she was yesterday, without taking herself too seriously. A little weird, very funny, and slightly obsessed with horror movies, she hikes every season, lifts at the gym, loves massages, and enjoys nights at the theater. Big on self-love and mental health, she values peace, honesty, and real connections, and is on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and fully stepping into the woman she's meant to become.
Maggie
Maggie is our most paws-itive team member and a highly trained specialist in client greetings, receiving endless pets, and supervising all fetch-related activities. With a gentle demeanor and a therapeutic tail wag, she brings warmth, joy, and emotional support to every session. When she's not hard at work boosting morale, you can find her napping strategically in sunny spots or advocating for more treat breaks.
"Care Always, in All Ways."
E-Motion was created to enhance the quality of life of performing artists, active adults and athletes. We understand the toll pain takes on your mind, body and work, so we treat the whole person, not just the symptom.
